a1's image has changed a lot over the last few years. If you look at a picture from when they first got together and a picture of them now you can hardly recognise them!

Ben:
Ben hasn't changed drastically over the last few years. The biggest change he's made was recently when he had his curtains chopped and got a new hair style! He's lost a lot of weight since the beginning of the band.
Paul:
Paul must have had every hair style going! He had the floppy black hair at the very start, then by Be The First To Believe he had his black spiked-up hair. For Ready Or Not he had those big spikes then for Take On Me he got a red mohican. His mohican then went blonde and silver, then he went and got his hair bleached blonde at around the time that No More was released. For Caught In The Middle, he got his hair back to its natural colour and got it all shaved off.
Mark:
Mark started off with his natural brown hair, but then for Take On Me he got blonde highlights in. He hasn't changed much from then, but the highlights are fading now.
Christian:
Chris had short curtains at the start, then they were quite long during the Take On Me / Same Old Brand New You period. For Caught In The Middle he chopped the curtains and got a flick.
